Outpost.com
The only online dealer rated number one in USA Todays poll ranking Mac dealers. With free overnight shipping , no tax and no restocking fee for products you do not like , who can complain with their policy. I buy most of my Mac prodcuts from them and they are the only company to my knowledge that has a total risk free buying policy which I think ranks them high on my list.
xlr8yourmac
If you need to add a second ATA hard drive or find out a specific hardware issue , this site is the number one place to visit. I can not tell you how many people on the Apple board ask about how to install a ATA hard drive and XLR8 fits the bill.
Hotfiles.com
Hotfiles is the best place to find Mac freeware and shareware period.
Microsofte Office 98
Lets face is Office 98 is the best all around Word Processor , Spread sheet and Presentation program out there today. With the introduction of OS9 there are critical updates which should be installed to get the most out of the product. |

Zdtv
Zdtv is a 24 hours cable show which answers your toughest computers questions and it is the very first place I visit to work out my Mac problems. The two main shows I watch on Zdtv are Call for Help and The Screen Savers. They cover both Mac & PC questions ,but Leo Laporte on Call For Help offers a new Macworld Mac Tip of the day each time the shows airs. (This site is a must)
Buy.com
If your looking for the cheapest prices around , you might want to look at Buy.com because they beat all prices on Mac & PC products. I must caution that their Mac section is very week ,but if your in the market for a 10/100 ethernet HP printer or leading software such as Adobe Photoshop , it pays to see the bottom line on what they have to offer. (Prices are very good if they have what you want)
Iconfactory
If your looking for something to spice up your desktop , I would visit the Iconfactory which has icon sets for downloads and various information on how to make your own icons. |
Macworld
Macworld is a print Magazine dealing with Mac products and their site lacks the content of the magazine ,but they earn their money from the sales of the hard bound text. But , they do offer some interesting content for free among other things which warrants a look see. (Macworld works with ZDTV bringing the Macworld Tip of the day on ZDTV's live computer show.
Cnet
Cnet is great source of finding information on Mac links , products and downloads. The content is very good ,but the updates are not as current as those found on Zdtv's web site. I check their site once a week just for a change of pace.
Apple iMac Adds
I love those early iMac TV adds and you might want to download them as well. This url does not jump out on the Apple site and that is why I put it on my links list.
Macintouch
Whenever I need to find out the latest news or trends with Apple products , MacIntouch is the place to start looking for insight into Mac topics. I would say , their content on Apple information is top notch and I found their Reviews on OS 9 compatiability issues was a valuable source of informatino for me. |
